SITKA, Ky. — Police attempting to question a Johnson County man about a stolen motorcycle ended up taking him to jail after he fled.
Deputies spotted Tylor Wagoner, 26, of Staffordsville, driving along Little Mud Lick and attempted to pull him over, but he sped away instead. That resulted in a chase of up to 80 mph along Little Mud Lick and north on Route 201, before Wagoner lost control of his truck in a curve and rolled over.
Wagoner reportedly climbed out through the windshield and tried to run up a hill to get away, but he was quickly captured by Sheriff Scott Hazlette.
He was taken to jail on charges of fleeing police, wanton endangerment, possession of meth, and numerous traffic violations.
