PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Johnson County woman has now signaled she intends to enter a guilty plea in a federal drug case, after reaching an agreement with prosecutors.

Jennifer Perez, 48, of Paintsville, is currently charged with three counts of distributing meth. The indictment alleges she distributed meth on three occasions in February.

On Thursday, her attorney asked that she be allowed to change her plea, after reaching a plea agreement. The details of that agreement have not yet been disclosed.

That request is currently being reviewed by a judge who will decide whether or not to allow it.

Perez is currently scheduled to go on trial Nov. 18.
