BELCHER, Ky. — A reported stabbing in Pike County ended up sending both the alleged perpetrator and the victim to jail.

Police were called to Belcher around 9 p.m. Sunday, where the incident took place in the parking lot of Pizza Plus.

Ethan Robinson, 23, of Ashcamp, was inside the restaurant when Johnny Slone, 18, of Pikeville, knocked on the window to get his attention. Witnesses told police Robinson said, “It’s about to go down,” and went outside, tossing his hat and jacket and pulling a knife on the way.

The two men reportedly began screaming at each other, and then Robinson allegedly punched Slone in the face with the hand holding the knife, causing him to be cut near his eye.

Slone then went to a nearby gas station to wait for police, while Robinson left.

After interviewing Slone, police determined there was a warrant for his arrest, and he was taken into custody.

Robinson later turned himself in. He was arrested on a first-degree assault charge.
