PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Lawrence County man has been sentenced to prison, after pleading guilty to federal drug and gun charges.
Phillip Jude, 58, of Louisa, pleaded guilty back in November to possession of meth, fentanyl and oxycodone with the intent to distribute and using a gun in a drug trafficking crime. In doing so, he admitted to having the drugs and a firearm in his possession back in September.
He had faced a potential life sentence for the crimes, but instead was sentenced to a total of 10 years in prison.
Jude is currently being held in the Pike County Detention Center, awaiting transfer to the federal prison system.
