WAYLAND, Ky. — A Floyd County man is facing multiple felony charges, after he allegedly rammed a police car while attempting to flee.
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a theft complaint and wanted to speak to Timothy Blake Hall, 24, of Martin, after they learned his car was spotted in the area.
After learning he was in Wayland, deputies went to find him, only to see him trying to leave as they approached. A deputy tried to pull him over, but he allegedly tried to flee instead.
The deputy wrote in his report that Hall backed into a driveway to turn around, so the the deputy tried to block him in. The deputy reported Hall then rammed his cruiser, backed up and hit another car, then rammed the police car again, keeping his foot on the accelerator to try to move it out of his way. The police report notes Hall still had his foot on the gas when he was pulled from the car.
Hall is now first-degree assault of a police officer, three counts of wanton endangerment of a police officer, fleeing police and other charges.
