DEBORD, Ky. — Two men have been arrested following a drug investigation in Martin County.
Deputies received a tip that Kyle Taylor, 29, of Detroit, Mich., and others were selling meth from a home on Ed Moore Lane, near Debord.
When the officers went to the home, they were given permission to enter by the owner, and they found Taylor in the bathroom. They then found evidence of meth in the bathroom, as well as two bags of meth in Taylor’s jacket pocket and another bag hidden in the freezer. In all, the deputies recovered 51 grams of meth from Taylor and the home.
Taylor was arrested and charged with meth trafficking and tampering with physical evidence.
In addition, the officers spotted scales next to Jason Pennington, 45, of Inez, and then found bags of heroin behind a nearby TV. Pennington allegedly claimed ownership of the heroin.
He was arrested and charged with heroin trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
