PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man faces multiple counts of drug trafficking, following a search of his home last week.

State troopers went to the home of Steven Cody Adkins, 37, on Wolfpit Branch Road, and obtained permission to search the residence. Inside, they found meth, prescription medications and more than 5 lbs. of marijuana, along with guns, cash and trafficking materials.

Adkins was arrested and charged with six counts of trafficking, along with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Adkins has been released on a partially-secured $10,000 cash bond.
