PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Things went from bad to worse for a Pike County man pulled over for not using his turn signal.
A Pikeville Police officer spotted a pickup truck make a sudden turn from U.S. 23 onto the exit for U.S. 460 without signaling. The officer pulled the vehicle over and spoke to the driver, identified as Austin Moore, 26, of Regina.
After running Moore’s license, the officer learned he was wanted on warrants out of Pike and Knott counties and he was placed under arrest.
Moore then found even more trouble when the officer found a box under the seat containing two bags of white powder believed to be fentanyl, along with large number of plastic bags.
Moore told the officer the bags contained powdered sugar, but did not elaborate any further.
