SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man who was arrested earlier this year, after he went through a roadblock and police found a pound of meth in his car, has been arrested again, after the car he was in went through a roadblock and police once again found meth in the car.
Nicholas Coleman, 54, of Elkhorn City, was arrested along with two other people back in April. At that time, the three were driving along the Mountain Parkway in Magoffin County, when they encountered a checkpoint at mile marker 70 and police found the drugs.
Just after midnight on Saturday, Coleman was a passenger in a car driven by Robert Sulcer, 58, of Birchleaf, Va., when they encountered another roadblock on the Mountain Parkway, this time at the 72 mile marker.
This time, police found just under half a pound of meth in the trunk. And because both men denied knowing anything about it, both were arrested and charged with meth trafficking.
They are being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, in Paintsville.
