PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pikeville woman is in jail, after police say she was caught on video stealing packages, tools and laundry.

According to Pikeville Police, Tabatha Slone, 45, was captured on security cameras taking packages from porches at Whitman Apartments, as well as tools from carpenters who were working on apartments. She was also reportedly shown on video taking laundry from a University of Pikeville laundry room.

Slone has a long history with police, as this now makes her eighth active case in Pike County courts, with all of the other cases involving trespassing or shoplifting.

This latest arrest is the most serious, with felony charges of theft over $500 and theft of mail matter.
