PRINTER, Ky. — A Floyd County man has been charged with drug trafficking, after he reportedly told police he traded meth for sex.

Kentucky State Police went to investigate 41-year-old Justin Kidd’s home at Printer for suspected drug trafficking on June 15, after receiving complaints that a large amount of traffic was going to and from the home.

Officers were welcomed into the home by Kidd’s father, who directed them to his son’s bedroom. In the bedroom, they immediately spotted drug paraphernalia, and under questioning Kidd voluntarily turned over small amounts of meth, heroin and some pills.

He allegedly told police he bought 2-and-a-half ounces of meth in Lexington a few days earlier. When asked what happened to the rest of the meth, he reportedly told them he owed an ounce to another person and he gave the rest of it away to women in exchange for sexual favors.

Kidd was arrested and charged with meth trafficking and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
