MARTIN, Ky. — A traffic stop Monday night resulted in two women being arrested after drugs and counterfeit money were found.
Floyd County District 2 Constable Gary Nelson was patrolling the Goose Creek area after receiving several complaints of suspicious activity in the area. He encountered Lynashley Coleman, 35, of Martin, and Katerina Pratt, 25, of Allen, sitting in a car beside the road.
After stopping to talk to them, Coleman was arrested on an outstanding indictment warrant for wanton endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, and custodial interference.
Then, with assistance from Martin Police Department, a search uncovered three counterfeit $100 bills, as well as suboxone, meth, an unidentified pill and drug paraphernalia.
In addition to the charges on the indictment warrant, Coleman was also charged with possession of a forged instrument, drug possession and other charges.
Pratt was also arrested on a public intoxication charge.
