ELKHORN CITY, Ky. — Two Pike County men were taken to jail on drug charges, after Pikeville Police executed a search warrant at an Elkhorn City home.

Police say when they advised the occupants of the home that they were going to try to open the safe, 43-year-old Seth Wellman opened it with his fingerprint. Inside the safe, they found what was believed to be meth, heroin, marijuana and Neurontin, along with a large amount of cash.
Wellman was arrested and charged with four counts of drug trafficking.
Also during the search, police say they spotted Chad Collins, 38, of Pikeville, dropping items behind a dresser.
