

VIRGIE, Ky. — A Pike County woman has been arrested, after a “knock-and-talk” on June 16 resulted in the discovery of a large amount of drugs.
Kentucky State Police went to the Virgie home of Sasha Sword, 35, who was the subject of a drug investigation. After getting her permission to search the residence, they found a pound of meth hidden under a mattress, two ounces of fentanyl and 12 ounces of psychedelic mushrooms, along with marijuana, guns and $4,000 in cash.
Sword has been charged with trafficking in meth and marijuana, along with possession and weapons charges.
She has since been released on an unsecured bond, three days after her arrest.
