PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Prestonsburg man has been arrested on a sexual abuse charge out of Magoffin County.

Larry Martin, 58, was arrested Wednesday by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and booked in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville.

He was indicted earlier this month on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse, which carries a potential prison sentence of up to five years. He is accused of abusing a child under the age of 12 in April and May of 2019.

Martin remains in jail without bond.
