PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man has been ordered to serve 46 years in prison after being found guilty of federal child porn charges.

Robert Preston, 40, of Shelbiana, was found guilty of producing and possessing child pornography, as well as cyberstalking, back in March.

The jury found he pressured young girls into sending him nude photos and videos, then threatened to expose them to family and friends if they didn’t continue.

In addition to the prison sentence, he was also ordered to pay $3,000 in restitution to the victims, as well as a $10,000 special assessment.

Preston remains in the Pike County Detention Center awaiting transfer to the federal prison system.
