Police still searching for murder suspect, nearly 15 months later

SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — There is renewed attention on the hunt for a Pike County murder suspect, more than a year after a man was killed.

Kentucky State Police is again asking the public for help in locating Charles R. Blevins.

Blevins, 38, has been charged with murder for the shooting death of Adrian Smith, 44, of Cleveland, W.Va., on July 6, 2019, at South Williamson Park, near the floodwall.

He previously spent time in prison for murder in West Virginia, but had been released after serving 12 years of a 40-year sentence. His last known address was in Williamson.
