GARRETT, Ky. — A Floyd County man was arrested after leading police on a chase aboard an ATV.
A deputy attempted to stop an ATV that appeared to be driving recklessly at Garrett. Instead, the driver pointed the ATV at the deputy, forcing the officer to jump out of the way to avoid being hit.
That started a pursuit along Stone Coal Road and Route 7 that only ended when the ATV crashed.
Police arrested Jamie Scott, 43, of Garrett, for DUI, fleeing police, reckless driving and other charges.
