COVID-19 cases increase to 53 total in Pike County, KY

Since Pike County, Kentucky has started to reopen, the number of positive COVID-19 cases in the county has continued to increase.

According to a Facebook post on Tuesday, June 16 from the Pike County Health Department, officials say there are 3 additional positive COVID-19 cases which include a 62 year old male who is asymptomatic and isolated at home, a “minor aged” male who is asymptomatic and isolated at home and a 36 year old female who is asymptomatic and isolated at home.

Health officials say that the three cases are all linked to cases that were previously announced in the county.

Pike County has 53 total cases and 16 active cases.

No other information has been released.
